The static hood enables collection of air samples from area sources with a low vertical emission rate.
Examples of such area sources are various bio-filters, composting facilities, and landfill sites.
The hood is made of stainless steel and meets all the requirements listed in the EN13725 standard. It consists of two parts: the bottom hood which covers an area of 1 m2 and a pipe with a port for taking air samples. After use, the static hood should be cleaned, disassembled, and prepared for transport.
